Welcome to Nathan Hale Elementary School. As the school’s new Principal, my goal is to work with the Nathan Hale community in providing quality education, setting high expectations, and creating a caring community for all students.

My background includes over 12 years of professional experience in the field of education, working as a teacher and administrator with students, parents, staff, and community groups in diverse educational settings. I have an undergraduate degree in Education and History from William Paterson University, as well as a certificate in Bilingual/Bi-cultural Education from Georgian Court University. In addition, I hold a Masters in Educational Administration from Kean University.  During my employment in the district of Carteret, I have served as a Vice-Principal, Supervisor of Language Arts K-8, and Supervisor of Music and Art.  All of these experiences have afforded me with a skills and knowledge base that allows me to offer quality administrative leadership as a Principal.

In a few short years, Nathan Hale School has met the educational needs of its diverse student population.  Our greatest assets have proven to be our students and educators, whose commitment and dedication to Nathan Hale is evident, daily.  The value they add to this developing heritage continues to be the impetus of our success. Moreover, our students understand that their success is measured through their character and leadership as much as it is by their grades and test scores.

As your principal, I can assure you that our school will continue to avail all the resources needed to further the cause for even greater student achievement. Offering our students the latest in curriculum enhancements, keeping our teachers abreast of the ever-changing educational trends, and providing a safe environment will continue to serve as our primary focus throughout this new school year.

It is in the spirit of meeting this challenge, that I invite all of our parents to partner with our students, teachers, and administrators in helping to pave the path to what I believe are the endless new horizons of greater student achievement.
