National Elementary Honor Society
National Elementary Honor Society is one of the most prestigious honors that can be awarded to an elementary student. Nathan Hale Elementary School is proud to have a National Elementary Honor Society chapter in our school. Students in the fourth and fifth grade make up our chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society. Our members were chosen because they excel academically and exemplify the five pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Inductees are honored annually at our Induction Ceremony in November. Members take the lead and welcome a new crop of student leaders into the society. In addition to each student completing ten hours of community service to maintain their membership, our students participate in a variety of service activities. Our Honor Society members look forward to continuing honing their leadership and academic skills in Middle School and beyond.
