I have been teaching in Carteret for 27 years!  I was a graduate of Carteret High School (Go Ramblers!!) and then earned my Bachelor's Degree in Communications and English from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ.

I earned my MAT (Masters in the Art of Teaching) in 2002. I am licensed to teach elementary school and English through grade 12. I have taught 4th grade for 14 years, 5th grade for 12 years, kindergarten, and high school summer school.

 

I have worked in fields other than teaching.  I worked at New Jersey Monthly magazine (fact checking, some writing) as a paid intern, as well as The News Tribune (selling advertising).

Mr. Csimbok and I have 3 children (4 if you count our son-in-law), a grandson, and a 20-lb-cat named Nico.
