Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Robert McGuckin

Mr. McGuckin grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania his entire life.  He attended East Stroudsburg University for education and quickly escaped to entertain on cruise ships.  Once his college debt was paid in full, he obtained a job as a Teacher of English at Carteret High School where he has worked since 2013.  During his time at CHS he has taught many different courses (English 1-3, Theater, Public Speaking, Enrichment, Creative Writing, and the dual enrollment Tomorrow's Teachers).  He decided to go back for his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at TCNJ with aspirations of bringing his leadership skills to good use while working for Carteret Public Schools.  You can find Mr. McGuckin at any sushi restuarunt, any broadway show, riding his bike, walking his dog (Sebastian), or helping out with the Carteret High School Drama Club.  He has been a class advisor, student council advisor, drama club advisor, and part of the district leadership team.  Stop by and see him to sign up for the full year elective called Tomorrow's Teachers, which will give you three college credits before you graduate high school!
