Instant Alert Voice System
Keeping our parents informed and involved helps to assure student safety and improve student success. In order to reach families quickly and effectively, the Carteret School District has an instant alert voice system called Blackboard Communications.
Within minutes of an emergency, school officials can use the system to deliver a message to the students' parent or guardian by telephone, text, and/or e-mail. You will also be notified of a school closing and or delayed opening due to inclement weather.
Parents/Guardians will also be informed of any important school news or upcoming events through the voice system.
