WELCOME TO CENTRAL REGISTRATION

Central Registration is the first stop to the enrollment process to register your child as a New Student to Carteret School District or returning from withdrawal.

2020-2021 Full Day Pre-K and Kindergarten registration will take place as follow:

Pre-K registration will be February 24- March 20

Kindergarten registration will be March 23-April 24

This process will pre-register your child for enrollment in the Carteret Public School District.

Step 1: Parents/guardians follow and complete the online student pre-registration via the link below.

Step 2: Print out and complete the all necessary and required documentation for registration.

Step 3: Contact the Central Registration Department at 732-541-8960 ext. 6027 and 6010 to make an appointment to submit your completed documentation. Registration will not be accepted unless all documentation is completed for submission at the appointment.

If you do not have all the documents at the time of your appointment you will not be able to complete the registration for your child(ren) and will need to make another appointment.

Pre-registration does not guarantee placement at a specific school.

Placement is based on enrollment and subject to assignment by the district.

A random selection process is used for placement.
