The School Counseling Department of Carteret Public Schools serves the students of the district by fostering the academic, social, emotional and personal growth needed in order for our students to become passionate, self-confident and purposeful individuals. The School Counselors work together to advance our mission of college and career readiness for every student and teach students the skills needed for post-secondary success and happiness. The School Counselors use data to drive their decisions and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that our diverse student body has a complete and profound educational experience. The School Counselors enthusiastically serve as positive role models in the school community and take strategic risks to accomplish district and school goals. Creativity, equity and professional advocacy are at the center of the work of our School Counselors.
