Fist of all I would like to express how I enjoy working with my families and staff of Carteret . I have been employed here for 25 years and have been an Occupational Therapist for 33 years.  My focus is working with children however I also have experience working in adult rehabilitation . In schools my role is to assist children optimize their school functioning.  This is accomplished by providing sensory supports and by facilitating increased motor skills and strength to support all the activities needed for school such as following routines, transitioning throughout the day, writing,managing fasteners and classroom tools and simply maintaining focus and attention
