Hi! My name is Cindy Suarez and I am a Bilingual Language Arts, English as a Second Language, and Special Needs teacher. In the morning , I work with 8th grade students at the Junior High School. In the afternoon, I am with 6th grade students at Carteret Middle School.

After living in China for 4 years, I acknowledge my children and how they may feel when learning a new language. There is no better way of understanding our students than placing ourselves in a similar situation. I commend our kids for their daily efforts in acquiring a second language while maintaining their first language.
