Hello,

I was born and raised in Carteret and graduated from Carteret High School. I received my undergraduate degree in education and a minor in psychology from Glassboro State (Rowan University).   I began teaching in Carteret in 1989.  I obtained my Masters in Reading in 1995 and my Supervisor Certification shortly after.  I taught Basic Skills instruction for two years before being a First Grade teacher for 24 years.  I received my Orton Gillingham Reading Training Certification in 2015 which is where my passion is.  I love teaching young children to read using this program.  I currently work with students K-3 teaching Reading with Orton Gilingham.\

I am looking forward to a fun, productive year to help all our learners develop a love for Reading!!!
