MEET THE TEACHER!

Hello! I started my educational career in 2018 as a Paraprofessional in the Carteret School District and later taught in Linden from 2022 to 2024. I am thrilled to return to Carteret this year, teaching 4th grade Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in National Security Studies from New Jersey City University and earned my K-6 Standard Certificate through Rutgers Graduate School of Education.

This year, my goal is to foster a love for learning in each student and help them build strong foundational skills.

4TH GRADE OVERVIEW!

Students will switch classes throughout the day. In my homeroom, we will focus on Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies. For Math, students will go to Ms. Elysee in the afternoon.

Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday, with a 2-point deduction for each missed assignment. Please ensure your child arrives by 8:30 AM daily.
