    Welcome 3rd Grade learners!! 

     

     

     

    teaching is a work of heart!

    Third grade is so much fun!! We will learn and grow by leaps and bounds this year! In class, we will get to know each other through daily morning meetings. We will play games which will help us understand each other's feelings and really feel comfortable with each other. In the 3rd grade we will work on building our stamina as we read! We will dive into a variety of books during Readers Workshop and also work on various skills to help us understand our reading! We will find "Just the Right Books" for us! In math, we will begin to memorize our multiplication facts, and also learn many different ways to solve math problems. We will have lots of fun working with partners and groups as we do this. Science and Social Studies will also be lots of fun as we work on projects and assignments! If you check out the picture on the top of the page, this is from another fun event, a holiday show we put on for your families! Third Grade really is a wonderful year of fun and learning! 

     

    Together we will make learning in 3rd grade so much fun!
