My name is Heather Nemati and I teach 3rd grade at Nathan Hale School! I graduated from Kean University with a degree in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education and have taught 3rd grade for 14 years here in Carteret! I love teaching here because I grew up in Carteret and went through the Carteret school system myself! Some of my favorite teachers were the ones who inspired me to work hard and fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher. 

At home, I have 3 young daughters! Ava is 10, Alana is 8, and Amelia is 4 years old! My husband is also a teacher, but not here in Carteret. We also have a cute dog named Axl, and a bearded dragon named Dino! Mr.Nemati and I love to bike ride with our daughters and spend lots of time outdoors. I also enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with our families.
