Hi there! I am a first grade teacher at Columbus School. This is my 8th year teaching first grade at Columbus. I love to read and spend time outside! I love the Yankees!. I have 1 dog, Mookie, and 2 cats, Ellie and Mac. Our classroom is bright and airy with a cactus theme. I love to teach reading and science! 

In first grade, students will be reading independently every day. Our goal is to reach 45 minutes by the end of first grade. They will be learning how to add and subtract within 20, work with tens and ones, and numbers to 120 in math. In science, we will be learning about plants, animals, and sound. We will be doing lots of hands-on experiments! 

I can't wait for our school year to start!
