Hello! I’m Mrs. Hokanson, and I’m delighted to be teaching 3rd grade this year. I have a passion for helping young learners discover their potential and develop a love for learning.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in History from Kean University and a Teaching Certificate from Caldwell University. This is my 4th year of teaching. My journey in education has been incredibly rewarding, and I am excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to our classroom.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 children. As a family, we love to travel, go to the beach, and play sports. I love finding ways to incorporate these interests into our lessons to make learning even more engaging. My goal is to create a supportive and fun environment where every student feels valued and inspired.
