Why I became a Teacher
I always wanted to make a difference in the lives of as many students as I can! Becoming a teacher let me impart life lessons that my students will never forget and it also put me in a position to influence my students' decisions, behaviors, strengths, weaknesses and imaginations. I love working as an ESL teacher because I find it extremely rewarding to help my students improve their English language skills. As an ESL teacher, I am able to help students overcome their problems with the language, which can eventually help them improve in all of their subject areas.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe that education is an individual, unique experience for every student who enters a classroom. In order for children to benefit from what schools offer, I think we as teachers must fully understand the importance of their job. My teaching philosophy is to be personal and authentic. I try to make students' learning experiences personal and authentic. I believe that the most impactful learning has always been personal and authentoic and I try to implement that in my classroom.
