Welcome Ramblers!

My name is Jerry Derillo and I am married to my wonderful wife Kathleen, and we have 2 sons, Jerry and Kevin. 

I have a B.A. in History and Geography with a Cross Cultural Perspectives Certificate in Cultural Geography from Rutgers University

I also have a M.A. Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University

I have been teaching Social Studies In Carteret High School since 2006. I have taught and currently teach US 1, US 2, World History, AP World History, Ap Human Geography, Holocaust and Genocide 1 and 2, and US Histroy Through Comic Books. I also coached football, wrestling, and track during my career at CHS. It has also been my pleaseure to chaperon many trips and extra-curricular events.

Outside of CHS, my family and I enjoy hiking, the beach, fishing, crabbing, and we are also Disney fanatics.
