The student council helps share students' ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school principals. They often also help raise funds for school-wide activities, including social events, community projects, helping people in need and school reform. They organize homecoming, student of the month, and various fundraising community activities throughout the year. They need a diverse group of students that are committed to making the school community a better place. Email one of the advisors to volunteer and join this worthwhile organization. It also looks really great on a college application!
