My name is Mrs. McCrea. I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, a certification in special education and a Master's in reading.  I attended Kean University for my undergraduate degrees and Walden University for my masters.   I have been teaching since 1998.  I have taught in two school districts.  I first taught in Newark, New Jersey.  I taught there for three years.  I taught first and second grade there.  I then transferred to Carteret.  I started here in 2001.  It was the best decision I have ever made.  I started working in Columbus School.  I worked there for three years and then I was transferred to the high school and have been here ever since.  

I have been married to my husband since 1998.  We live in Parlin.  He is a sergeant in the Newark Police Department.  We have two children.  Our daughter is 19.  She attends Middlesex County College.  She is finishing in May and hopes to attend Kean University in the fall.  Our son is 15.  He will be attending Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School in East Brunswick.  He is in the Pre-Engineering Shop.   I love to read.  I try to cook.  I am always looking to try a new food at home.  We love the Mets and Giants in our home.    Our family loves the beach.  It is one of our favorite past times.  We love to play board games together as well as garden.
