Evaluation:
Students will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Formal Assessment (Artwork)……………………..45%
• Based on finished work per term requirements.
• Graded using rubrics based on: elements of designs, skill, effort, creativity, class rules
Performance (Studio Conduct)……………………..50%
• Regular attendance is required.
• Quality and effective use of time
• Quality and effective participation in class criticisms and discussions
• Cleanup and storage of work
Problem Based Learning (Sketches)
• Sketches are used for development of student’s artworks for portfolio
Homework……………………………………………..5%

A passing final report card grade will be evidence that the students have demonstrated the proficiencies described above.
